Hi,I'm going to be attending the Clacton Airshow later in the year, including the 'Twilight Airshow' on the Wednesday evening...was looking for tips, tricks and advice to photograph the aircraft taking part to capture the pyrotechnics as well as the lighting effects? my searches online have only given advice for static or ground-based subjects..
thanx!

Re: Twilight Airshow Photography Tips
Something like this? Use the largest aperture possible... I set my ISO quite high too but I don't have the info to hand. Shot using a 6D & 400mm f/5.6

Re: Twilight Airshow Photography Tips
The shutter speed changes quite dramatically when they put their lights and pyrotechnics on, so think ahead. Hence me going for high ISO, had I not, I would have been shooting around 1/30th and at 400mm, that would have probably buggered my photos up.

Re: Twilight Airshow Photography Tips
You may have to "wing it" on the day. Try something and see if it works, if not try something else.
Me, I would start with a high ISO and shoot in manual
