Sorry if this is a silly question, how many runs do you get from each of the aircraft?

Each aircraft usually does one run each.

Each aircraft usually does one run each.
However it is worth noting that before a run, most of the aircraft will perform some slow manoeuvres such as figure of eights to show a bit more of the aircraft, and types that have moving parts such as folding wings or rotating bomb-bays etc may show these off as well. Don't be put off because you think you'll only see a few seconds of each aircraft!

Looking forward to it, hope the Comet is able to taxi, must be five years since I've seen it move under its own steam.

Erm...
The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfire will arguably be the star of the show at Bruntingthorpe Airfield on Sunday.

It's looking good for tomorrow. Weather set fair http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2644668
VC10 running first at 11.00am.
VC10 running first at 11.00am.
Re: Cold War Jets, 28th May 2017
Another great day, easy to get on and off the airfield.Comet was unserviceable and the Nimrod didn't do a full power run due to half the tail rudder missing.Lightning,VC10 and the Victor were my favourites but the Buccaneer pair(which did two runs) were pretty good as well.

Re: Cold War Jets, 28th May 2017
A good day was had at the CWJ day yesterday, but a little disappointed that there was yet again no Comet; Nimrod could only slow taxi (as could one of the Hunters and the Delphin), and the Victor shut down too soon, so the people at the far end of the crowd-line didn't get the 'noise'. For those of us that go for the heavies, thank goodness for the VC10.
The Spitfire passes were great but there were no large flying models this year even though they were advertised (unless I missed them while walking around). No great loss as far as I'm concerned, but I know some enjoy them and they do fill the gaps.
Two other things of note: some of the teams had really high quality merchandise this year - I'm thinking especially of the Canberra and VC10; secondly, as usual there were no fairgrounds or other non aviation-related gimmicks at the show, which is such a refreshing change, and yet still the families come (RIAT take note...)
One of the nicest things about this kind of show is arbitrarily meeting people and having a chat; I met a gentleman who used to be on QRA on Victors when they were based at RAF Wittering in the '60s, and another gentleman who talked with me about the 'Rolling Thunder' shows that used to be held at Bruntingthorpe in the days when the Vulcan was there before it re-flew. Really interesting people
