Whirlwind hits Cosford

Post by jalfrezi »

I wasn't overly happy with most of my Tornado shots because of problems with the weather conditions on the day, however from looking at other's threads there doesn't seem much love shown to the Whirlwind, so here's a few from me.

Here's two more non Whirlwind related shots from the day.

Really like the black and white Hurricane shot..

Thanks, the Whirlwind was one of the main reasons that I made the trip to Cosford, I'd been wanting to see it since I saw it depart in the distance at one of the Waddington airshows. Hopefully the weather will be good for Yeovilton with it performing late in the display when the light is more favourable.

Great Pics, really looking forward to seeing the Whirlwind fly, it really looks the business! Funny how " back in the day" it was one of those Tea & Pee times at
RAF open days! RAF open days? well, that was when....

Thanks for the comments!

I'm glad the Whirlwind owners have resisted the urge to add a couple of eyes on the front :clown:
