2017 Meeting L'Air BA113 (Saint-Dizier)

Post by henk99 »

Went to Saint-Dizier last weekend to attend my second airshow in France. The previous one (Luxeuil) was great, so was aiming for a repeat. However, I wasn't expecting this kind of weather :tongue2:
Saturday started with rain and it continued to do so all day. Sunday was almost dry, but still very dark gray. To make a long story short.....it was very, very challenging photography wise. Lot's of vapor in the air, so lot's of fluffy displays.

The Spanish Typhoon shot is just  , lovely stuff. You know it's a wet day when the cockpit is giving off vapour

Thanks for sharing

+1 for the Spanish Typhoon. Reminds me of a model in a wind tunnel.

Is that Couteau Delta using two special tail Mirages for the display with the desert camo as the spare? If so, a repeat for next week would be nice.

On Saturday they used the Camo and a special tail for the display, on Sunday they used both special tails and left the camo on the tarmac.

And thanks for the comments guys! :king:
