When the Wick Express met the Berlin Express
When the Wick Express met the Berlin Express
I took a gamble and make the 230 mile trip up to Wick for the arrival of Mustang N515ZB, The Berlin Express... and struck it lucky
I thought that this was my "money shot" as it was through the fence under a cloud

They were debating whether or not to fly on or night-stop at Wick tonight and by the looks of it they may have stopped at Wick

Great catch!
He's done pretty much everything else possible with a P-51, with over 8,000 hours on type he's the highest-time Mustang pilot in history.

Glad your gamble paid off! Great Pics, great aircraft, great achievement, I don't think they should risk flying back, I reckon it should stay here!
Re: When the Wick Express met the Berlin Express
Not only did the gamble pay off, you were rewarded with good weather! Great shot's Wallace, hopefully they'll visit Prestwick on the return leg.

I got laughed at when I told of my fondness for them!

Re: When the Wick Express met the Berlin Express
As far as I'm aware, all P-51B's and C's had four blade props, that's if that's what you're referring to?
