Its going to rain. They will have to use tractors to get all the cars of the campsites again.

As Yeovilton proved on Saturday there is little point in paying attention to forecasts even ones published that morning, checked at 7am and Metoffice had it as cloudy all day with a chance of showers instead we got some of the best weather in years and temps in the mid 20s.

Well, I'll find out what it's like at Fairford in about 2 hours time....but then, the WiFi is non-existant at Kempsford so I won't be able to tell you.

Sunshine blue skies just before and just after the weekend. Thick cloud in between. Typical!

Sunday's currently looking slightly better than Saturday, but only slightly.

According to the very pessimistic Metoffice it is, but nearly every other forecast is saying that it's going to be a nice day on Saturday, with some even predicting clear blue skies!
Conclusion - No-one has the faintest idea!

(Only thing they all agree on is the wind, which isn't looking like it will be a problem anyway (~15 mph WSW))

Any predictions for the weather tomorrow please?

Metcheck changing all the time, currently giving cloud and some showers during the morning. On the other hand, they haven't been too accurate for me recently.

As you say it keeps changing so its impossible to say, could be cloudy all day but on the other hand it could be clear all day, best to always assume the worst then you won't be disappointed.

Looks like they did not book enough Pitts Specials and Helos .

Brize forcast for Friday night and Saturday. Cloud base 1600 feet becoming 1200 feet with 40% chance of light rain.

Not looking too bad this morning here in Devon.
I really hope it's better than yesterday for all you Sunday lot.

Looking back at yesterday, the Raptor was a massive shame but considering the day as a whole it was still an excellent show. And it's not like the F-22 was the only U.S. asset attending! In terms of the show as a whole it's almost like somone in the U.S. said 'send everything'.

P.S. it's taken me 5 mins to write this & the weather here is improving by the minute. I reckon you're gonna have a much better day than yesterday.

09:10h now & the weather still improving in Devon. Not sure about Wiltshire but the weather in Devon generally moves westwards so I am very hopeful it is coming your way.
