My wife said, "mmh a Phantom"
Hi guys, can anyone shed light on the possible sighting of a phantom being preserved near the M6 going towards Birmingham, and, if so, who and where and number

Who was going, you, the wife or the phantom? And where was the shed light? Was it being preserved as your wife saw it or over the course of time?
North or south, how far out approximately or do we have to guess everything? We could be talking Carlisle here after all.

If it is, then it's east of Coventry! Would hardly call that "towards Birmingham".

Ah, but as I previously asked, if you're on the M6 heading south at Carlisle you're "going towards Brirmingham" which was what was originally posted.

My wife can't tell the difference between a cabbage and a lettuce, never mind the difference between a Jaguar and a Phantom !

The irony is, the clue is in the OPs username.

Well if you're between junction 1 & 2 on the M6 heading towards Birmingham, then that's "towards Birmingham".

Yes there is a Jaguar when going North bound on the M6,
About 1mile before jct2. If you travel that route you will see it, the Ansty Rolls Royce factory is in the distance behined the Jag.
Will post some pics of it later.
This will if it stays in the position its in now, will become like the old A1 Lightning.
Lucky for me its on my doorstep.
