Classic Aircraft around the UK

Hi all,

Some photos of vintage aircraft around the country over the past few months that I haven't yet got around to posting..

The first is Vampire T11 WZ507 at Halfpenny Green over the weekend of 29/30 April, for the Radials and Trainers fly-in:

Next is Jet Provost T52 G-PROV operating somewhere in the Midlands, in mid May:

Next another Jet Provost. This time G-BWGF T5A which recently moved to Coventry.

Something else at Coventry recently, Dakota G-AMSV airtesting at Coventry, before being moved to India in the near future..

And finally, the latest aircraft to move to Coventry; Night Fright DC3 of Membury Airfield Historic Flight. It was shipped over from the States for full restoration, and is now waiting for its turn to be worked on by Air Atlantique..

Nice set. It's sad for me to see so many former North Weald residents moving away.

Thanks! Not sure to be honest, I keep hearing that its been sold, although haven't seen any movement around it yet.

Cheers.. yeah its a shame about the exodus from North Weald, however certain factors have forced it..

Yep that Iindian Dak is a great capture, the only pic of it I've seen bar one in the magazines, the original statement mentioned the intention of it attending British airshows this season, well it sort of did for you!

Still for sale as far as I am aware. In fact, one of the last former CAF aircraft for sale.
