Sion Airshow 2017

[Berlingo]

Hello,

I spent the last three days in Sion for the Breitling Sion Airshow. Some very cool performers attended the show including the Rafale, Gripen and Eurofighter here to make publicity of course.
Some rarely seen (in Switzerland) warbirds as the France based Hurricane, the Fighter Collection's P-40F were also present. Then the Swiss Air Force stuff and many more completed the Flying Display.
Displays were very far and high so I also spent one day above the airfield to have some better pictures opportunities. A good show .

Damn .... Now I know I should have gone up that hill but thought it would be too far away. Fantastic photos will post some of mine later but looking at my results I must admit you have some real stunners in that set! Thanks for sharing! How are your opinions on the show ground and organisation? Have not been inside myself but heard of lots of people complaining...

Thank you p2Phillip. Well, in my opinion the organisation was not that bad, but they used a “cashless“ system, that mean that you have to charge a card with money and then use it to buy everything on the show ground...But it didn't work every time, queues were not avoid and you had to pay 3.- if you want to get the your money back from the card . That is the only bad point for me. The static display wasn't impressive and the sun was right in front of you all day long, so a spot on the other side of the valley was a much more better option

Hello, David, thanks for your comment, you're right about the jet noise. Unfortunately, I was on my way to the show when the Catalina performed, so no pictures . But she flown right over my train...That was really cool and beautiful
