Polish Hinds - air to air

Post by Bartek »

Year ago I got chance to celebrate 35th anniversary of Hinds service in very special way. Photoflight with 3-ship formation over seaside. I did many flights with Mi-24 but most of them were "combat" sorties with no setups planning etc. This time I was able to design all formations, turns etc. Mi-2 as a photoship is quite challenging especially when it comes to head-on shots but I am pretty happy about the results. Here are some examples.

Great work!!! Number 4 and 8  I really like the Mi-24. A shame that no former East Germany Mi-24 is flying in Germany but I'm glad that the Mi-24 has a future in Poland.

Great set of photos. It's interesting to see the much larger exhausts on the lead Hind.

The lead aircraft is a former East German Mi-24D, the other two are Mi-24Vs.
