My first spotting session in Verona Villafranca, the 2nd biggest airport in Veneto region in Italy (biggest one is Venice Tessera) and 15th most trafficked airport in Italy.
The main reason of my visit was the arrival of an El Al 747 for a charter flight:

I have flown into Verona a number of times to ski in the Dolomites; it's a pleasant airport. I have memories of Dutch F-16s taking off "loaded" for missions over Serbia while waiting for our flight and always look for the F-104s still around the base.
Do you have close-ups of any of the Starfighters or the RF-84 still there?

Unfortunately no, despite not having a permanent Air Force presence anymore, it is still considered a military airport and the Air Force section is still closed to the public.
