The Rarest Movement Ever at Bournemouth?

Post by Ledhead27 »

Maybe I'm over-exaggerating there, as the type itself is seen on a very frequent basis, but it's not very often people can claim to see a Nigerian registered PC-12 in the UK. The aircraft arrived for routine maintenance at the Pilatus UK facility, with it promptly being tucked into the hangar upon arrival. Luckily managed to get a quick shot of it during the "golden hour". There's been a few other notable movements over the past couple of weeks, with T2 Aviation basing their Oil Spill Response 727 here for a few days for spraying trials being a particular highlight.

Nothing out of the ordinary but hope there to some people's liking.

Certainly looks rare at first glance Dan, but I believe it was once based at Bournemouth as N689PE - sorry!

Nonetheless, a very nice photo of a very nice aircraft!

Nice catch! There have been some great rarities over the years at Bournemouth. My personal favourite was the Sudan Govt (ministry of agriculture iirc) Twin Otter ST-AHV which stayed for a few months in the early nineties.

Hurn has quite a few 'rare' movements. I can remember photographing a Chilean air force c130 arriving and departing in the early 00's.
