Like the final shot and the A400 crossing the runway, were some of these taken down the public footpath by the Herc dispersal?

Nice shots but what's that under the tail of the Herc? a C-47?

Yep, gate guard for (I think) 47 sqn.

A lovely set with some nice prop disks. That Herk really is a good looking scheme.

Some information on the C-47 :- Ex KN566, 44-76853. LN-RTO not taken up on 9/6/88, and reverted to G-AMPO. Registration cancelled on 18/10/2001 and the aircraft was later presented to the Royal Logistics Corps for display (painted as FZ626) at RAF Lyneham. Now at RAF Brize Norton from 2011.

The two Hercs are from the crash gate around by the Hercules ramp, and ZM406 is from the footpath that end too.

Thanks all
