A bit more info from the BBMF site.

MK356 is now painted in a desert colour scheme to represent 92 Sqn's EN152/QJ-3 which operated in Tunisia during April and May 1943. One of the pilots who flew her was Flt Lt Neville Duke (later Sqn Ldr Duke DSO OBE DFC** AFC). A famous fighter pilot and later test pilot, Duke was the highest-scoring Allied fighter ace of the Mediterranean theatre, with 27 confirmed victories.

I wish they'd finish TE311 first before starting others, that was embarrassing this season

It was shoddy. Have the BBMF presented an explanation/excuse as to why it hasn't been finished? TE311 looked like it was making up the numbers in the Thompson formation.

MK356 does look nice though.

It's smart for sure. Not my favourite scheme but only right the desert war is represented. Would rather see a MkV with a Volkes filter but That's not a simple request. Will be interesting to see 311's scheme I must admit to being astonished how many appearances it made, I thought sending it out looking like that would be a last ditch job when serviceability necessitated it?

Does anyone know what happened to G-LFVC? It had the Vokes filter but it was de-registered in 2007.

Relocated to the United States. It suffered a landing accident earlier this year.

Funnily enough, I've just read it's had it's old UK registration reinstated so must be returning to the UK soon...

No longer has the Vokes filter fitted though, and wears a grey/green camo scheme of Robert Stanford Tuck's aircraft coded RS-T.
