Vegas special scheme F-15C

Post by st24 »

Now I'm never one to knock a special scheme or ten but this is a bit, well.. American...
Commemorating battles, anniversaries, heroes, acts of war and unprovoked attacks etc I get but not something that could have been avoided so easily and is within the control of the American people... Ooh bit 'a politics...

Thoughts?

This is actually grounded F-15A 76-0057. It was a "painting" project for the MXS. Still horrible though.

Likewise. Just seems to be a desperate rush to "honour" the victims so everyone can move on and carry on as normal. With many events such as international terrorism etc there's not much more you can do but this somehow seems to miss the point.

It would have been quicker to paint the following onto that F-15C, as it better represents the people it protects.

Facile tasteless chest-thumping Yank garbage. I'm entirely not surprised.

There is at least one Nellis-based F-16 flying around wearing similar markings at the moment too.
