Airfix Dehavilland Comet

Post by Shyft87 »

Hi all,

Does anyone have any experience with this kit?

I'm looking towards putting one together as an Xmas gift, but I've seen mixed reviews about it (not to mention the lack of BOAC decals... :wat: )

I think Noah took one into the ark for light relief so it's a bit basic.

Isn't the Airfix kit a Comet 4B - hence the lack of BOAC decals as BOAC never operated them?
