Arab Jet Provost, Sub Hunters, a Heron and more!

Post by CameronSys »

Hey,

A mixed bag of vintage types from a thoroughly enjoyable day today, starting at Nottingham and ending back at my home airport, Coventry! Some real rarities including the Jersey Airlines Heron and the Twin Pin!

Firstly, Swords Aviation superb Jet Provost T.52!

Then back home to Coventry for the Shackleton Dusk runs, it was great to see her running on all four again!

And Vampire T.11 WZ507 of Vampire Preservation Group in the final stages of maintenance at Coventry. Thought to be the only flying Vampire T.11 in the Northern Hemisphere, and being the first single-engine jet type to serve with the Royal Air Force, it will be great to see flying again during 2018, particularly so being RAF100..

Cheers and thanks for looking!
