Some lovely photos in there but most are far too over-processed for my liking I'm afraid

Some really nice picture compositions here! Roughly how long did it take to paint each one?

Brilliant set of pics of rare front line air force which usually avoids publicity of this type. Like many of your web pics they have impact and suit the subject, thanks for sharing and great web site as well.

I love the Israeli F-16s and F-15s (especially the R2D2 version), but what look like perfectly good pictures have been screwed into oblivion with the sharpening tool. :hide:

I like both the pictures and the post processing - those Israeli aircraft could have done with a good cleaning though...

Great to see images of those camera-shy Israeli fighters :heyhey:
However, I have to add a bit of criticism: all images appear ‚overprocessed‘ and the extensive use of HDR ruins the set for me :hide:
Nevertheless thank you very much for sharing something different

Huge respect for posting something different and what you like.
There's a vast range of enthusiasts between the 'purest and artist' - for me, I like the clarity and clinical detail offered here.

I agree with the majority of the above comments. Excellent subject matter and composition compromised by not knowing when to stop with the processing.

The OP clearly has plenty of talent as a photographer so I can't imagine that shots taken in full sun in the middle of a desert environment needed much processing anyway - its not as if you are going to be struggling with low light levels!

I sit in the middle on these things. I think experimenting with HDR etc is a bit of fun and can produce some excellent results. Showing one or two in a set of 10 is fine but I think when it goes wrong is when posters think that processing the whole set is a Good idea. It diminishes the impact of the one or two good examples and ruins the impact of the set as a whole.

They look fine to me. Great subject matter.

As others have said, great subjects, unusual etc etc.
So why make them art?
