You beat me to it !
Heard them on 277.625 a few minutes ago....no idea of their current location.

Edited to add...
Not heard them on any of the usual Fairford or Brize freqs.
Wonder which way they're routing ?
Hard to tell because of the weird propogation recently.....heard a Volga Il-76 approaching the French coast earlier, but not a lot over Wales & Devon.

Only heard them once from my location, when they were all still trying to get in.
Surprised they didn't all divert, given the weather.

Another proof that the good old BUFF is a better aircraft than the F-22. They don't need a 1500 feet cloiudbase as a minimum to fly. #RIATUSAFjubilee

Mytee 53 (B52), Dragon 21 and Dragon 86 (U2s), by all accounts....
And as the smart ship grew,
In stature, grace and hue,
In shadowy silent distance grew the iceberg too....

Post on the Fairford movements blog ( https://ffdmovements.blogspot.co.uk/ ) has it that 2 more B-52s are due in this morning.
They've got them down as due in at 10:30 ..... not heard anything yet, so either they're still en-route or they came in 'Northabout'

Did hear brief faint comms with BARON 41 earlier, which apparantly was one of the B-52s which arrived on Tuesday outbound.

Stated on FC (http://www.fightercontrol.co.uk/forum/v ... 2&start=20) that MYTEE54 has landed, and MYTEE55 may have been an air-spare & turned back? I've got nothing other than what others have posted.

I remember researching MTs association with "Bomber Barons" when I wrote about them a while back, but I've never heard the "Baron" callsign used by B-52s before.

Guess the B-52 which diverted there isn't in a hurry to leave.
