VH-UQG becomes VH-FGB Alliance Airways logo jet

Post by keithnewsome »

Time to move on ... It's complicated ... but this ex Austrian Arrows F100, formerly OE-LVC, arrived at Norwich in October 2017 as VH-UQG for some TLC with KLM engineering ... has since been through the spray shop and emerged this evening as VH-FGB an Alliance Airways logo jet celebrating the 90th anniversary of the first trans pacific flight .... A few photos ...

Update No 26ish ... much to some peoples dislike  This foggy day saw the airframe moving under it's own power for the fist time since last October when it arrived ... low power engine runs followed by steering and brake testing on the taxyways ... enjoy ...

He can't help it.He has issues and is desperate for recognition.
If you look through any of his posts you will see that he replies to or 'updates' his own posts in order to keep putting them back to the top.
Just wish the mods could do something about it.The issue I have is that for every interesting post on here, there are ten of an aeroplane at Norwich that somebody painted, and then it gets milked and milked.Pathetic really......

Many thanks for your moderation on this matter Ian G ! ... So spooky that it should arrive on the same day I received this email explaining in detail the link between Alliance and the beer company !

Nice collection of photos Keith! I personally think posting different photos of an aircraft in one thread is certainly better than creating a topic for each one!
