Surprised nobody has mentioned South Africa, not that it is, just surprised they've not been mentioned.

I think Pakistan is the best shout, if the Twitter "clues" are correct.

Presumably the JF-17 is operating out of Shawbury?

Seriously, excellent, excellent news. This is pretty unprecedented for Cosford. Brilliant addition. Plus, large aircraft always look great at Cosford.
Cosford are off to quite a start!

Don't be daft, it's the Mirage IIIP demo....!
Very nice, though with the 100 RAF machine theme I dread to think how tight the static will be...

What a quality addition that is. Congrats to the Cosford team.
If RIAT is anything to go by - and it will be - the crew are very hospitable, welcoming, and only too happy to show you round the C-130 inside and out.
Great stuff.

They were one of the most welcoming crews at RIAT.

Is parking on hard standing or grass?
All visitors parking is on grass, however, there is a small amount of concrete available which is reserved for disabled parking and motorbike parking.

For those who ride a Motorbike, what's it like for parking on the show day?
Not sure about the show day, but the arrival (usually fri&sat) days you can park just below the train station.
Would be nice to see you up there if that's something your up for ?

The Flying Bulls’ Bristol Sycamore has been announced for the flying display.
Cosford are building themselves up a damn fine attendance sheet!
Edit - and their Bo-105

Now there's a coup. I didn't expect that. Great stuff Cosford team
Re: RAF Cosford Air Show 2018 - [Main Topic]
Very nice additions, shaping up nicely and we're not even into February yet.
Re: RAF Cosford Air Show 2018 - [Main Topic]
The Bo105 is an incredible display item a truly amazing display. Sycamore is a fiendishly good catch; wonder if, just for a few days, they could lose that hideous Red Bull logo..

Wow. Those are fine additions.
Re: RAF Cosford Air Show 2018 - [Main Topic]
I can honestly say I didn't see that coming. In fact, I never really expected the Sycamore to make the journey ever.
Well done Cosford!

Its seems the Whirlwind is returning to the flying display this year too. Classic helicopters are becoming a Cosford speciality

Two more static:
- Sea King HAR3, from HMS Sultan
- Whirlwind HAR10, provided by Yorkshire Helicopter Preservation Group.
