Bournemouth's new Boeing...747-8VIP

Post by Ledhead27 »

After several delays and the big question of whether she would actually arrive, VQ-BSK finally made the journey from Everett (via San Antonio) to Bournemouth. Despite the weather being far from ideal it was certainly a massive treat to witness the arrival of this beast in the UK, which is now the largest business jet within the UK and Europe!

Certainly looks the part in the revised livery in comparison to her stable mate VP-BAT. The new 747-8 should also be making her first "revenue" flight on Monday to Doha

Rumours are that since the owner died they’ve been looking to sell the -8.

And like their SP, they can’t find a seller so it could end up in Mojave this year.

$1billion spent for a couple of pleasure flights.

Still the best looking airliner currently flying, love how these look from front 3/4 view with the big cans.

Saw her very low and close last year while I was in the garden, she was downwind to land. If only I'd had my camera to hand!
