Great news on the NH-90, both flying and static.
Posting comments on an aviation-related chatroom, are ya? Looks like it an' all...

Very happy with that little update, loved the display back in 2013, a very photogenic and pleasing to the eye helicopter

The Finnish Air Force and the Army (where the NH90 comes from) are two different forces. We could still get the F/A-18 later on.

Nice to have another flying display confirmed but I just can't get myself excited about helicopters on static, sorry. Well done to DBH for securing the flying example though, big
from me for that.

Looking forward to seeing the Finnish NH-90’s with their beautiful colour scheme. Would be nice to see the finnish air force joining their army friends with an F/A-18D! Love the look of the two seater....

There's nothing mythical about my chopper - how very dare you.
Maybe more suited to the graceful curves of Old Warden I'll concede...

A bit of life behind the scenes! This type of stuff is much better than blandly simply listing what’s attending. Credit to them for fleshing the life of the air tattoo out a little bit.
Or is it meant to warn for an update-less next week?

Now only the F-word issue to solve. It is just a display that is make with, break without it.

A109 and NH90 really do nothing for me at all. But then its not just my opinion that matters. Other people seem to enjoy it!

Are they going to repaint their display jet one of these years?

Correct. It has the name ‘Dark Falcon’ this year

Which sources? I haven't seen that one. I love their show. It's sad that their commentator from 2016 passed away. He was legendary.

The OP was referring to flares I believe. Which, IIRC, are never used at RIAT. Pyrotechnics yes, flares nope.
