Great catch, by you and the grebe. Its next take-off run may be a bit longer.

That is some catch! Did the grebe manage to swallow it? If so I bet it was swimming lower in the water.

Eventually it swallowed the fish, after fighting with it for a while trying to get it from horizontal to vertical so to speak, to two gulps to get it down
