No Guts No Glory Returns?

Post by Pringles »

Seeing on social media that the recently-sold P-47 formerly owned by TFC has been de-registered with the FAA and is under "Export to the United Kingdom"

Thoughts?

I heard rumours about 18 months ago that it was heading back this way. At that time, it was expected to be joining the North Weald Historic Aviation/Anglia Aircraft Restorations stable.

I've heard Sywell as an end destination, so Anglia Aircraft Restorations would make sense. I would be surprised though, given how many fingers they seem to have in various different pies already!

Always been my favourite warbird. Hope it returns.

If it is Sywell, quite an impressive collection of aircraft amassed in a short amount of time. Did see the P-47 up for sale and the figure was North of a million.

It was reinstated onto the CAA register yesterday as G-THUN...registered to a similar address to the Anglia Aircraft Restorations airframes.

Always a pleasure seeing it :)

"Big" Nellie looks great with the full scheme and red paint applied. Personally I think that is better than the former ngng scheme.
