Event: An evening at Middle Wallop, celebrating 80 years

Working with our friends at the the Historic Army Aircraft Flight we’ll be providing a smattering of aircraft that have graced Middle Wallop over its 80 year history… And better still, we won’t be depriving you of your hard-earned take-away at the end of the week as the Museum of Army Flying's Apache Café will be on hand with a curry.

Following the Wings Parade on Friday 16 March will see a number of Army Air Corps types gathered for a night photocall, including Middle Wallop stalwarts Beaver AL.1 XP820, Skeeter XL812 and Sioux AH.1 XT131. With the exception of the Skeeter, all of these aircraft will be running for a portion of the event. A number of aircraft are likely to be visiting, more on those when we have it.

Tickets are priced at £30 for the event, and £7.50 for the curry (and rice, naan, poppadom, etc.!) and are available here: https://www.threshold.aero/event/evenin ... g-80-years

Very cool, and a nice chance for those who didn't get the chance to see it during the final flypast.

Anyone know what's happening to ZG917 long-term? Scrapman? Preservation?
