Post by Tonka 617 »

The morning started mixed weather wise, after a patch of severe snow fall the sun gave some spectacular light for the days flying.

It's a lovely photo, perhaps needs a little more sharpening though? The tail is pin sharp but the nose is a little soft?

Appreciate the feedback Andy, I hadnt seen the nose to be soft, however a touch more sharpening did seem to make a slight difference.

Nice shot. Are they still keeping it low on 06 departures - read somewhere a few months ago that it's not as good as it used to be for pics?

Thanks Dan

Hit and miss on Thursday. A few were pretty high and kept it flat, others gave some great photo ops. One of the Grim Reapers took the deaprture of the day title... but he caught me by suprise and I completly missed it with the camera, low full reheat and right on his side in front of the forrest entrance
