APROC 2018 Gilze-Rijen

Air Centric Personal Recovery Operative Course ( APROC) will be conducted between 23 May and 06 Jun 2018 at Gilze-Rijen AB (NLD).

For people that don't speak dutch
The E3A Will opperate out of homebase Geilenkirchen.
The F16's Will also operate from their homebase Volkel.

I presume there is no spotters day and viewing would be off base ?

Yup de GRAS spotters are trying a spotterday but it wil only be fore members of GRAS i read. But spotting at Gilze is so easy plenty te see :cool:

Could you give some good advice on spotting at Gilze. What are good spots to see them land/take off, for example.

I've only been to location 1 but there's plenty of parking there and you can see over the hedgerow if you're 6ft or taller. If not you can still get everything on approach :smile:

Wel after a couple of days Aproc is a live and kicking the helo's fly in three groups one mission a day to different location in Holland and Belgium! Here is a log of the action today and some local stuff taken from the scramble.nl thanks to Eric van Lisdonk . Nice suprice today was the second E-550A that came in today. So thats the whole fleet of E-550A at Gilze fore a couple of hours :rock:
