Shaping up to be a good event, any change of the AAC bringing anything to the party?

If the idea is to celebrate Middle Wallop's 80th anniversary, any sign of Spitfire, Hurricane, P38 or P51 (I could mention Beaufighter and Mosquito but what's the point) turning up?

Are we any nearer the retirement special Lynx being confirmed? There's nothing not a lot else yet persuading me to travel 120 miles to come and see, Radio Flight Auster aside.

Is the current poorish weather forecast  likely to make much difference to the aircraft hoping to attend? An element of crystal-ball gazing I appreciate.

Indeed looking grim at the moment. I wonder what condition the car parks are in? Along the road Popham has been closed for several days due water logging. Wish I had held off buying my ticket to be honest.

a note of optimism is that we do seem to have two good drying days coming up
