Thought I was hearing things with the callsign..... USAF C-32, callsign THICK 75, just coasted out Westbound over South Wales

Edited to add...
USAF E-4B, callsign HANK 15 coasting out Westbound over Brest.
KC-135 QUID 42 routing towards Lands End ( may be using QUID 190 callsign, or that may be yet another tanker )

If anyone's interested ( it's painted in Yemen AF colours & I think it's still the only airworthy T.52 ) according to the SWAG website, G-PROV is scheduled to depart for Nottingham at 16:15hrs.

Not sure who, but there's currently a team up over South Wales practicing their display elements.
Working 123.30
I have a feeling it's 'Team Raven', but for some reason they seem to be using the callsign 'Britannia'.

The FR24 equivalent of a slow news day then.

Isn't BRITANNIA a Yeovilton Tutor callsign?

:dunno:
Not one I've heard being used up my way, other than by the airline.
There were several UAW Tutors up at the time ( and a couple of Cranwell ones ) but whilst I've often heard them doing formation flying I've never heard them doing formation aerobatics.
Don't think it was the L-29 ( G-DLFN ) which departed St Athan either, as that was a singleton & I don't think it was up that early.

You may have been right about them being Tutors.....no comms heard yet, but I think there are currently 3 of the whiny objects flying in formation near my location ( just far enough away & high enough not to be able to read the IDs or see the cockpit canopy, so can't tell if they're Grobs or Van's )

Try the easy way. Have they got a nose wheel or a tail wheel?

Wrong angle to tell ( yes, I know RV-8s are tail-draggers )
Given that they've gone to St Athan, I think it's safe to say they were Tutors.

Seems rather pointless, but KITTYHAWK 29 departed Cardiff and landed about a minute later at St Athan :dizzy:
Departed about 10 minutes ago.
