It'll be good to see the NH-90 back at Cosford, too.

Fine support from the Dutch. Genuinely really looking forward to seeing that KDC-10 flypast.

This will be their new helicopter they received earlier this year - an appearance on the ground is most welcome. Great work.

Is the display line going to be the same as the other aircraft for the Typhoon?

As it stands currently, all aircraft are planned to perform on the 'normal' display axis along the runway.

Is this new? I think it's new.

Panavia Tornado GR4 RAF Marham Flying

I look forward to people telling me it's been on the website for the past 3-4 months!

This is great news, although I expect it will only be a flypast. Let's hope it's low and fast!

Nice spot, possibly part of some sort of RAF100 flypast i'd imagine? Either way very welcome addition, the show is coming together very nicely!

Top news. :win:

Almost certainly the last time to see one flying (in RAF hands) at a Cosford Airshow.

Absolutely bouncing with the Tornado news :D Though I did get to see one last Summer at RIAT from Italy, it has been MANY years since I have seen an RAF Tornado GR4 flying. (Though did hear 2 roar through our mountains a few years ago)

Chinook also confirmed today. As is a Tutor on static.

And Cosford just beat every 'RAF 100' sticker job we have seen with their Jaguar.

Swiss F-18 will be at Aalborg that weekend. I know its early days, but I really can't see Cosford putting together anything much different to its usual pedestrian fare. They'll be at least one item that's a gem, but there'll be no real showcase extravaganza.

The Tornado just seems to have slipped onto the list with no fanfare. Could it just be a flypast or two or is it really possible that the RAF will work up an actual Tornado display? Have to admit I'd be absolutely shocked if they did.

Whilst it's still newsworthy, and to save the wait until the feature is out, it's just a flypast(s), according to PReoch at today's press launch.

Tbf any commitment from a very stretched, hard-working and old fleet is a good'un, in my books.

How much was it to get in 1984? 3 hr flying display is a thin given the RAF had so many more types to draw from in those days.

Actually Aardvark, sorry to flip flop about, but I think you're right! :win: You can still get tickets, I'm sure, for a flight out there at a reasonable rate, I also know of a nice lady who provides B & B and what not!

But then Cosford was a ‘second tier’ airshow
