Death Valley and the Jedi Transition

Post by CH79 »

Hello,

As I haven't posted recently, here is a colossal upload from my two recent trips to Rainbow Canyon in Nov'17 and Mar'18. Death Valley and the surrounding area is a stunning place to visit with or without aircraft. My thanks to COAP and Bluelife Aviation for the F-35 set-up in November - what a day!

Wowzers  Magnificent stuff   :worship:

#11 though - they didn't do a very good job of fixing the side of that Warthog did they? At least could have touched up the paintwork properly. :joystick:

Wowsers, many thanks for the kind comments everyone - fully appreciated :thumb:
These were taken with a 5DIV coupled with 500mm f/4 IS (first version), for those interested. Shutter and aperture varied between 1/320 and 1/1600, and f/4 to f/8. All the time trying to keep iso in and around 100.
I will post more from a few other locations soon!
All the best, Chris

Awesome set! Just curious, why are you trying to keep the ISO at 100? The 5D4 can easily make clean images up to ISO640-800 and even more.
