Either sold out (can't see any posts on social media to suggest this though), or the online booking deadline has passed would be my guesses.

Re: Evening Airshows
Thanks, i didn't think it would be a sell out but never considered the deadline.
Re: Evening Airshows
Deadline is usually 6pm the night before show day so probably that is the case

I would loved to of gone to this show, especially after the season premiere, but I don't feel like travelling home up the M6 with all the football lot coming back after the cup final.

The Lancaster did 3 flypasts.... one 'right to left', lovely topside as it banked around the entire display line, then similar back from 'left to right', and then the third was a half-top side, then straightened up for departure..... Superb!!!

The Lancaster was absolutely sensational tonight. By far the best I've ever seen from the BBMF. Marvellous.

Stu Goldspink taking it to Ragley Hall and back to Duxford. After he popped back to OW in his Pitts he flew the Spitfire and then the Sopwith Triplane. Not a bad day's work!
I concur about the Lanc, outstanding.

Re: Evening Airshows
My first evening show; great show, great golden light, however I would concur with a couple of comments on here about which it could have been started an hour earlier and hence finish before we lost the sun light.
But a superb show, thanks Shuttleworth guys!

Re: Evening Airshows
Another cracking airshow at Old Warden. The best light had gone by the time the Edwardians flew and that was a shame. OW has set the bar high this year, it will be interesting to see how others follow. Well done to all involved and many thanks for your untiring dedication and hard work.

Thinking of attending my first evening show next week, weather permitting. How do these compare to full shows in terms of crowd sizes/queues to get in etc?

You wont regret attending Brawler. As for crowd sizes they tend to be smaller than a 'full' airshow, The season premier sold out with 7500 tickets, where as the last evening show sold 900 in advance. Getting in is always easy, people tend to stagger arriving from before gates open to a short time before the flying starts.

Looks a good list. Assuming the weather is nice, I'd be tempted to make it four out of four for the season, but I'd want to know the bend was back to normal before committing to it I think.

After going to last years, and the other week's show, this was down as a definite but I have to agree with you. Have we heard anything official from Shuttleworth about the lack of bendiness?

Weather for Saturday is looking changeable at the moment, but may head down if the weather looks like it'll be decent.

Re: Evening Airshows
Well it looks like the light is going to be quite good but the winds, gusting to 23 mph is going to be a bit of a problem. I think I'll give this one a miss.
Re: Evening Airshows
Cracking evening all the doom mongers missed out on some superb flying.
