Paris-Villaroche Air Legend

Post by Wissam24 »

One I've been following on Facebook for a while, for some reason, but it's looking like a *seriously* good show, with French vampires and Noratlas and all sorts. If it's a north facing crowd I think it'll be worth checking out for sure

That does look tempting. Kliene Brogel and Melun in one weekend? Doable...

I'd just do Melun to be honest.

I mean that is a hell of a lineup, and with a north facing crowdline, how can you say no??

I'm hearing big ambitions for this show, too.

Is it definitely North facing? Looking at the layout I would've guessed the crowd would be by the hangars, so East facing, but still good!!

I was told on Facebook that it's a North facing crowdline, but I'll enquire with the show

Any more info re the layout? Looking back at shots from previous shows doesn't give much away. The website mentions trips to the hardstanding to shoot the display a/c but not orientation... From that I'm guessing the crowd won't be in that area facing East...

I was told the sun would be behind the crowd for most or all of the day, but that doesn't really answer the layout question as there are a few possible variations on the theme...

Looks like an epic line up such a shame I didn’t hear about it until a few weeks ago

While I only did the Saturday, I have to say this was a blinder of a show. Sensational lineup, a shame about the Sabre but to replace it with Europe's other Avenger is incredible. Great feel to the show as well. Can't imagine being anywhere else this weekend, absolute no brainer.

Better work on your French tongue. Or you could take the lacey approach and go with a tour guide. I might make the effort with this one next year depending on the leather forecast.
