Arrivals 2018

Post by stevebrodie »

All,

if posted elsewhere - apologies, but i have done a quick search and cant find the info i was looking for;

Take it arrivals will start on the friday, but does anyone know the time slots, sure i have seen them posted somewhere, but been asleep since then, and then of course i could have dreamt i had seen them posted elsewhere.

Anyway any help would be appreciated, if for nothing else but to restore some sanity :grin:

I'm present on Saturday and will trial a live arrivals/rehearsals/general goings on thing on the forum. I did it successfully on Twitter last year, so fingers crossed technology doesn't let me down! :grin:

However, if I pick up any info on timings, I'll do my best to spread it around on here with as much notice as I can.

I doubt that the arrival slots will be public, and indeed, anything issued earlier than on the day itself (and even on the day itself!) should be taken with a massive pinch of salt.

Found it, so scanner and radar360 it is then on Thursday, got a good - if very long distance - view from Plaza 1 in Telford, and platform on Friday.

Anyone know whether the MiG is due PM Shawbury today?

Heard the Belgian support might be a C-130. :cool:

Been here for about 3 hours now. Literally nothing has gone on. Highlight so far was watching a crane put together the plastic Typhoon

Polish delayed by several hours, apparently. Casa support hasn't arrived at Leeuwarden yet!

No guarantee they will arrive today.

Given that we're talking about two airfields, it's probably worthwhile if people clarify which airfield they are at when talking about movements/arrivals/general stoof.

One imagines that they aren't building the plastic Typhoon at SHY? (I could be very wrong!)

Sorry I’m at Cosford. Static on the airfield is looking good. Another highlight hasn’t long happened and that was watching the crane that put together the Typhoon sneak under the railway bridge with not much room to spare at all. Oh and a steam train came past. But as for arrivals nothing other than the Dakota today.

Nothing on 360Radar, heading to Cosford at the mo, or since 1pm. few things have skirted past; Herc going south, MADRAS21 returning to Brize from AARA5 couple of Tonka's and thats it. :sad:

Single MiG with a punchy arrival. A second RTB this morning, I believe.
