There's an evening show on the 16th so I suppose we'll know then.

My worry is more about what time the P-47 will be on, considering the majority of the show will be the more wind-dependant WWI types.

There has been a tendency this year to start the show with star items. No problem at the evening displays of course, but not ideal for lighting at the main shows.

I know I was one of the first to bemoan the lack of "bendage" at the last show but either way the sight and sound of a Jug tearing up Old Warden is too exciting a prospect to miss....

Fingers crossed that the Lanc is on about 16:00 then with the P-47 after it. Please don't put them on first Shuttleworth!

The BBMF are always hard times supplied by them to fit into their other commitments that day.

Surely that depends on how early the bookings are done for that day and what else they have on? Anyway the main aircraft I want good pictures of is the P-47.

Lancaster, according to BBMF website is due at Swansea at 14:00, so assume it will do a flypast as it transits back home...

OK didn’t realise the Lanc is only a flypast, as it is not mentioned on the list.

I'd need to know if they are flying the usual (up to now) 'round the bend' routine before I go all that way again.

Me too, and I'll also probably try and use all forms of social media to ask if there's any idea what time the Thunderbolt will display

BBC predicting 15mph winds and sun for Sunday, ww1 stuff will not be flying if that the case half the shows participants will disappear going to wait to see if it improves.

It's still too far away to get an accurate prediction, we probably won't really know until the night before.

15mph wouldn't necessarily rule out the WW1 stuff, it depends more on the direction of the wind. However, a wind speed of 15mph would rule out the Edwardians whatever direction it's blowing from.

If the time slot for the P-47 is confirmed, and is favourable (so, 4pm or later), I might well be tempted by this one.

Its looking like an Easterly  but the light stuff can still use the cross runway..
