Trowbridge Traffic

Post by CJS »

Staying in a village called Woolverton and already had 2x Osprey, an A400m and a Merlin low overhead.

I'm guessing doing touch and goes at Keevil? All traveling either SW or NE on the same flight path it would seem.

I appreciate that I'm probably the only one who's interested, but this morning we've had a C-130 and a Voyager overhead, both travelling SW.

Mobile battery died.

A few more Atlases ( Atli? :-p ) and something interesting this morning which looked a lot like one of the Edwardian types from OW, but which presumably wasn't actually.

Also had a couple of Hawk T2s playing overhead Stourhead yesterday afternoon.

Finally, someone might be able to clear this up for me... there were some aircraft - too far away to tell of fixed wing or rotary - doing night circuits somewhere directly North of where we were, which was pretty much directly south of Bath by about 12 miles or so. So an airfield just south of Bath that's used for night circuits? I looked on an OS map but nothing seemed obvious. :dunno:

I’m very jealous. I never see any Military aircraft in West Yorkshire, and it seems they’re flocking to you.
