and carrying on the tradition of going tech during display week ( i lost count it was so much ) we had an aborted take off on 417 although i suspect it may have been a test
as minutes later all three went out together. thats the display F16 the spare and the additional spare they had to fly in during the week as it got so embarassing for them.
they made up for it with two displays on sunday although thats probably another subject ! to be fair it was the air display highlight due to the lack of RAF fast jet action.

What a great set of shots, which to be honest show FIA in a completely positive light. (Not referencing the Sun!) Sadly little of this flying content or weather was available during the Trade-days, much less the Public-days. You certainly made some good choices for imaging flying content here & seem to have had a very 'generous' viewpoint.
PS:- I'll take the Harriers over the F-16 's for the Show highlight.

Thanks. i shall google what the Sun said. The flying shots were taken outside the airfield perimeter.
