Cotswold Airport Revival event 29/30 Sept

Post by Oldtower »

Just flagging this up as 'an employee' side of things - but the Revival festival is on.

Some aircraft are due in, including Royal Navy Merlin, Gazelle, HAAF Auster, P51 Mustang and a pair of Fairchild Argus amongst some others, aswell as a ground show.
More details on: www.cotswoldairportrevival.com

Any aircraft wishing to fly in are welcome, contact Kemble Ops on 01285 771177

Most of them will arrive on Saturday. The RN Merlin is due at some point on Friday, as are a couple of other participants.

Rick that's a good question - I have no idea tbh, however that is on the northside (Tower / AV8 restaurant side) but the shows the southside - off the Malmesbury road. I would hazard a guess and say the Britannia isn't if you popped over the other side but if I find out anything from work tomorrow I will flag it up.

So I'm assuming there's no access from the showground side?. Not a problem, just wondering...

According to the photo I took from the other side it has Werk NR 5055 on one of the stabilizers so according to my references that makes it 80+55.

OK, thanks anyway.Somewhere near the Hunter I saw hiding over there I assume......Would have been nice in the line up and then it would have been almost like the good 'ol days of the much missed Kemble Air Days. Still it was still nice to be back on familar ground today. Even had a quick look in the 747, not that there was much to see...
