Somerset Speedway

Post by POD »

The Somerset Rebels have achieved their highest place finish in the Premier League this season..They also feature the current world champion Jason Doyle in their team...

Here is a couple of images of him in action taken with my new Canon 7D mk2 and the 100-400 mk2 in low light...I'm impressed with the combo... :yahoo:

Nice set, I have been hoping to get to a speedway event myself but nothing is that local to me in Southeast London anymore.

Picked up the Knock out Cup this season did the Rebels. Pleased for them. Doyley has had a mixed season but has been great to have the World Champion racing on British shale.
Londonwise there's the Kent Kings. I suppose they are nearest aside from the Lakeside Hammers. Not sure whats happening with them though into next season.
