First operational sortie for Meteor In RAF service

Post by Tmyers123 »

Big milestone for the Typhoon Force today as QRA from Lossiemouth launched with the Meteor BVRAAM for the first time.

It’s thought that the QRA was in response to Russian Air Force Blackjacks.

Maybe the headline should be first RAF operational sortie for Meteor.

Wouldn't it have been much easier to mention that in this case the Meteor is a missile.

Sorry, but assuming people bother to read to post, I think it becomes obvious that it’s about the missile the second you start reading it.

Well I hope they landed with it as well, if the missile that been "launched" it would have made the 6.00 o'clock news.
