I finally made a long overdue visit to this lovely little airfield. Only spent a couple of hours there, but there was plenty of activity and interesting aircraft.

Me too, it's a gorgeous aeroplane and it's been a long time since I've seen one as well.

Great stuff, Compton Abbas is one of my favourite airfields. The Staggerwing and the Expeditor were both at their Vintage Day last Sunday. Very large numbers of visitors, both by air and road, some cars having to park off the airfield out on the road.
