They flew themselves to Leuchars, Yeovilton and all the Belgian Air Force Days events they've attended.

Yep, T-17s have been flying to UK shows for the last forty odd years under their own steam, don't think it would be any different now.
As Geoff says rarity value probably just outweighs dynamics here. Now if a couple of Norwegian ones could be persuaded to come for the static.

Very nice addition to the Cosford line up.
Loafer for Mr. Da Vinci.

Whatbothers have said, not the most dynamic, but rarity value is excellent.
Have the Danes ever displayed at Cosdord before? I can’t recall any time recently.

With a flat out speed of under 250kph and a range of around 700k it would be a long ride out from Denmark.
No support aircraft planned to accompany them at this stage. Just the five T-17 aircraft. Great effort from the Danes and I for one am looking forward to seeing them at RAF Cosford.

Would be lovely wouldn't it? However, given the distances involved for them coming from Bardufoss, it's not likely, but I always ask the question! A Sea King Mk.43B comes top of the RNoAF wish list for me personally...

Shawbury or Brize at a guess.

I might be having a slightly hazy memory, but wasn't there a German P-3 slated for a flypast one year recently which was making a detour from a flight over the North Sea anyway? In which case the answer would be: Germany!
I don't remember if it actually made it or not.
Although to be fair I have trouble remembering my own name these days, so it's quite possible the above is entirely fabricated...

Cancelled due to weather on the continent, along with Ramex.

Chinook display team self confirmed. Would expect the most of if not all of the RAF displays at Cosford.

From Cosford's latest post expect a Czech air force up date in the next few hours! Gripen, L-159, Hind? Should be a good update!

Very good additions, Hind and Hip lifting off from the grass would have been even better, suiting the venue, but hats off to the team, they keep on pulling out the quality.

Can either of the types use Cosfords runway or both to based elsewhere ? Also would they have a support aircraft that could be added to static in the future ?

The support CASAs rarely hang around at the shows, so would probably go in to Shawbury on arrival with the jets and back for their departures. You never know though something different may be on the cards.
