Rhymes Barn campsite

Hi all,
Doe's anyone know if this site still opens for RIAT and is there any catering facilities on site?, I'm hoping to do Wens to Fri here and Sat in the show.

Yep ryhmes campsite £15 pppn Inc u to walk to there viewing area which next to the taxiway,on the camp site there portaloos and a portable shower unit on the viewing area there is burger van that's pretty good sells drinks to.corsair when I more time I will pm you with more details I camp there then go into the show sat we love there.typing off me iPod so not the best.

I stayed there last year for about the third year running but the owners told me it was going up to £20 for 2012.

I'ts still worth every penny :biggrin:

I agree it is great value and viewing position but it is still £15/£20 to park and view for the day whether you camp or not.Apparently Totterdown is only £5 park and view min £10 per car.I think Totterdown is more expensive to camp though.It's down to personal preference where people choose but I thought last year most of the displays seemed to be more over Totterdown than over Rhymes so I am still undecided where I shall go this year.

I think the only thing that is missing is some night time entertainment, where my tent was last year I could hear 3 or 4 knds of music playing.

We normally walk into fairford at night takes about 20 mins walk
