Re: last of 'the few'

cheers Dan. .

I had a list of eight, including both Tom & Geoff. I wont note it here for sake of privacy

The 6 remaining I could only confirm two. Hopefully that's not the case.

last of 'the few'

With the sad loss of both Wng Cmdr Tom Neil DFC & bar, and Sqn Ldr Geoff Wellum DFC in the last days.

Would I be correct in thinking only two remain of 'The Few' today ?

I suspect the newly crowned 4th time world champion may not be SPOTY this year but that isnt a tax incentive neither. Only thing he is guilty of is utter stupidity. Claimin...

Re: OMG Card corrupted

what is the make?

Lexar and Sandisk have rescue software included.

Ive used Lexar's rescue service last year after 16gb card from a Millie Miglia trip including museums of Ferrari, Enzo, Millia Miglia etc got unreadable.

Sent back to them . They retrived all images and sent a new card for me.

Good God! you would never think we here, share the same passion for aviation ? Reading the comments in this thread is nothing shy of kids, I mean 6 year olds! Arguing in a primary school playground about utter tosh they think they're 'All knowing' about. ' My Dad is bigger than your dad!'.. really! ...

Judging from experience, ' social media' isn't very social! Perhaps such 'Twitter Twatters' have stolen thunder from the 'groupies' here over the past years? The enlightening thing of all social media is being able to trawl (and not very long) through peeps posts just to see the calibre of person th...

F35A - grounded

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-40255544

Isn't this a bit deja vu?

Did the F22 have a similar grounding issue and the 35 having a previous issue due to Ox2 supply?

Are the US using a so different system from its conventional fleet?

Ridley is the man for this!

Anyone who thinks CGI is pooh . . look at ' Eternal Zero '.. as meniotned earlier. Seeing the Japanese fleet as it was on Dec 7 1941 is not short of breathtaking.
