Lumix, thanks for the link to the B25 DVD, received my copy & have just watched it, wallowed in nostalgia, having flown in "Grumpy" and a couple in the US brings back some awesome memories, thanks again, Paul H.

They operated out of "Riss" as well during the filming of Hanover Street, I was there on the Astazou mod & repair team, (remember the Jetstream that went through the wall on take off when both engines decided to shut down ? electrical problem in the overhead panel but called for engine...

Re the B25's, not forgetting Jeff Hawkes amazing film "B25's do fly IMC" about bringing them to the UK with all the problems, anyone have a copy they would like to share ?, then seeing them all flying in & out of Little Rissington for the film Hanover Street, didn't they then go to Spa...

Interesting re the O2, wonder if they have uprated / changed (to TIO 540 maybe, seem to remember many moons ago there was an STC for same ?) the rear unit to compensate for the loss of the "pull me" power part of the aircraft, Paul H.

Surprised no one has picked up / commented on the difference between BBMF /Canadian top turret - guess BBMF genuine as WW2 & other a later variant ? any one with a knowledgeable answer, have been poring over the books & can't find reference to the Canadian type in service, help !!!, Paul H.

Superb, but all that technology and the guard at the top of the gangplank stands with an what appears to be an ancient Lee Enfield .303, thought he could have had a more modern weapon to protect entry & his ship, (I know it is ceremonial etc but ?) PH.

Pair of what I think were 2 Griffon (growly !) Spitfires ?????? overhead Thame heading in Oxford direction, any ideas (was in open top car passed behind me difficult to identify but heard them) PaulH.

Hiller 12 helicopter just flown East To West o/h Bicester, then the RV team escorted a P51 into Bicester, did impromptu display into airfield, then a Stearman went East to West, no idea of any idents though, oh the excitement ! Paul H

Air Tanker & escorts o/h Bicester ??

About 30 minutes ago overhead Bicester, high 5-6K feet heading West what appeared to be an A330 (Air Tanker ?) with an escort of maybe 5 -6 aircraft , seemed straight winged (Tucano ?) any body else see it, nothing on FR24.

How good to see a Harrier with the nose oleo inflated, so many around the system have underinflated oleos, a properly charged one really good to see, PH.
