How does this guy do it? All these 747s? I’ve only seen one in the last Year. An Air China Jumbo at Edinburgh in May. Lucky him.

Re: New Vespina aircraft!
Thank you all for correcting me, I'm sorry I should have got my facts correct. I didn't realise it wasn't going to be an RAF Military Transport. Is there going to be a Helicopter to complete the set?

Simplest answer if they don’t base it at Northolt which would be a shame for them, then it has to be Brize Norton!

Re: D-Day 50th anniversary June 1994
I Remember being at Mildenhall Air Fete just before this event & remember a few of the Canadians, 1 of the US Navy F-14 Tomcats & 1 or 2 US Navy Hornets amongst other things. Where any of the Aircraft which attended Mildenhall in 1994 participate in this?

Really sad to hear about the passing of “Sir” Murray Walker he may have been annoying to some people but his commentaries were usually the best thing about the races.

My comments are/ were made as someone who has been to the Air Museum but never the Airport so don’t really know the layout of Coventry Airport so if I have upset or insulted anybody about this or said anything which anybody disagreed with I an really extremely sorry.

I apologise for this, I didn’t mean that they should actually give it to the Museum, If there was an area near the Museum where they could operate from away from the proposed Factory Area.

Re: Last Concorde Visit to Edinburgh, 24 Oct 2003
I remember being a little disappointed at first that this Concorde G-BOAE wasn’t the Concorde which has come to East Fortune - That honour has gone to the equally elegant looking G-BOAA. Have decided to get down to East Fortune again to see Concorde amongst other Aircraft as soon as we are allowed t...

Re: Last Concorde Visit to Edinburgh, 24 Oct 2003
Certainly was an emotional day, took the day off Work especially to see Concorde airborne for the final time. Certainly was a busy day around Edinburgh with the place filled with people, spotters and public alike all wanting to see this excellent aircraft one last time. Just a shame they couldn't ha...

Another cost based crazy MoD decision and of course no direct replacement. Sorry to see this Aircraft go, saw it at Paris, Waddington & Leuchars Airshows.

Once this Covid business is over I must pay East Fortune a visit. I have to visit Concorde again & see the Red Arrows Hawk they have now. Also I don’t think I’ve been down since they reorganised the Museum.

Definately got to get down again, haven't seen the Red Arrows Hawk yet. In fact I haven't been down since they reorganised the whole museum.
I guess that Vulcan must be in need of a little TLC now?

Don't see anything wrong with that scheme on the JP just shows how they would have looked if they had still been in RAF service.

Re: Phantoms in a Glasgow scrapyard April 1992.
XV571 which I cannot remember ever seeing but a look in my spotting log says I did and XV574 Z of 111 Sqdn both had amazing colour schemes, both long gone but much missed as you say it's a shame more RAF Phantoms were able to be preserved.
