Re: Bournemouth Air Festival 2023
The Vampire flew on the Friday. Everything was scrubbed on Thursday and it was never down to display on Sunday according to the online schedules. Not sure about Saturday. Ah right, thanks. Sadly she didn’t fly on the Saturday and I don’t believe on Sunday either, although I wasn’t there that day to...

Re: Bournemouth Air Festival 2023
Conversely & in spite of the blue skies, I thought the attendance on the Sunday of Bournemouth Air Festival was markedly down on previous iterations. Noticeable also that many people decided to dump their cars anywhere they could find a space local to the over-cliff & pay the fine, rather t...

Outstanding amazing film. Watched it last night , just wished in the extras they explained a little bit of how they restored it to made it look like it was filmed recently not 75 years ago .

Hi
Did the same a couple of years back with my 5 year old GS , i brought a pair from Clas Olson very cheap but very good . He didn't like wearing them until we saw and i brought a pair of Red Arrows ones, on site

Thanks for those maps! Where do you guys think would be a good place to watch it over the Army HQ in Andover? Was thinking of this point but have no idea of the area. m I'd say outside Travelodge would work best, but without knowing the direction they'll overfly it's difficult to say. That was my o...

Presumably they're OK with non-tenants rocking up & using their car park, then?
There was no problem with the Lynx farewell , there's but if it's a worry most of the area just across the A303 is basically a industrial/retail park

Just had an email from our local airfield. A 3 ship Tornado formation will be passing over our village, north to south at 2000ft. I would also vote for the museum at Vigna da Valle. I went from Rome on the local train - took about an hour and was very cheap. However note that the station at Vigna da Valle is a country halt with no taxis and about 3 miles from the museum - a pleasant walk on a nice day as we found out! If I we...

Ideally, they think "out of the box" to provide something different but booking the Blades is very much "in the box". Couple of flypasts by civi airliners...and/or a raid of Duxford's display items. I must say though that the take off and landing at the Same-ish time malarkey ,t...
