Re: Tornado Farewell Tour

Agreed- a highly fitting end to an iconic aircraft. I have been alive as long as tornados have been in service, and it was highly emotive and fitting send off. I was unable to get to Marham itself, but timed my travel between two offices to allow me to stop briefly near Crimplesham, and got to see t...

Would be nice if they headed east over Yarmouth, say at about 1000 feet, as that is where I am today

Nice to see these- we swung by with sleeping toddler and heavily pregnant partner but missed them- toddler and partner saw them arrive when they first got here in Downham- toddler pointed them out to her!

Great photos :)

Re: Heathrow easterly bankers - the rest added!

Wow... Allow me to paraphrase... The lack of EXIF data made me enjoy these images less and how dare you choose to take artistic license with your own photos in a way that is abhorrent to me. The only issue I have with these photos is that it wasn't me taking them. Outstanding images, and with the ni...

Re: Bring them back

The lists already mentioned pretty much cover it- for me tho, the Shackleton (as remembered from my childhood) will be a welcome sight in the skies again. A Nimrod would be incredible to see again; I used to love seeing them, and was gutted when they were retired. I think we are lucky to see the thi...

Re: Modelling Forum Boost

Hi guys, not been about for a couple of years now, but that is something I am looking to rectify again... Haven't built anything in anger since the RAF 109 but saying that I have the airfix Severn class in the midst of assembly. I kinda stopped for a while due to building a 1:1 scale human, then rel...

Fast jet over Downham Market

Hi all- just had a fast jet over at 23:10 tonight (Sunday). Unsure what but it circled for about 10 minutes before I lost sight of it to the north of the town. Anyone know what or why?

The boy and I saw a DC3 over worthing about 45 minutes ago. Any ideas as to where she was headed/had been?

Re: Airfix GB 1:48 Bf 109E

Finished her pretty quickly- I think she took just over a week! Here she is- I went for a slightly more weathered appearance- all of my reference photos show her absolutely filthy, so I have tried to replicate this as much as possible. http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa136/mlaker141/IMG_75922_zps...

Airfix GB 1:48 Bf 109E

hi guys,

got the BF109 on the go for this one! Pictures to follow, as I am away from my bench at the moment... it is the Airfix club kit, in A&AEE markings...

Cracking kit so far tho! Falling together nicely, just as well as the tamiya ones do! Airfix certainly have got their act together!!!

Re: Confusing

From the point of view of an onlooker, having been off of the site for a while, this post would appear to be the pointing out of a suggestion on the part of Scott, looking at possible solutions, and asking for other viewpoints. This has, for the most part, been achieved. To summarise... Is there an ...
