9 pm. Info from my TV guide. Good series. Suspect some scenes have been staged, but that is reality TV for you.
Best Regards.

Re: Where is everyone staying this year?

Booked 7 nights Monday to Monday in a caravan site near South Cerney. 2 of us, cost £650 approx, so average for time of year . I paid for Friat for both and mate pays for caravan. Only a few miles from Fairford, so hopefully shorter days, and will probably find somewhere to visit on Tuesday before t...

Re: Cosford 2023 thoughts and views?

Had a great day. Not a classic but a good airshow. Personally didn't mind the small gaps in the display, gave it time to carry out other duties. We watched the display from the west end adjacent and were parked by the 06 threshold. On leaving I must big up the RAF guys doing the traffic management. ...

Hi. Texantomcat. Will be attending. Just to let you know I am starting a clear out of various books and After The Battle Mags. Whilst I won't be able to bring them this weekend, would you be happy if I drop them by at a later date? Also, do you know if any of the stalls onsite can take card payments...

Has anybody been able to access that link. On every computer I have it doesn't seem to work. Maybe the OP could provide some more info. It maybe that I have my security settings too high. I remember watching this as a teenager in the 80s. Yes it may have been cheesy but still worth watching. Regards...

Thought the same. Visited there 2 weeks ago and what a thoroughly enjoyable day. Staff welcoming and all for free. Made a donation as I felt guilty about seeing it all for free. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

hi Basically they will try to monitor all communications within their area of operations/interest. At one time times they used basic radio scanning radios. I believe AOR (Japan) were a frequent supplier. Suspect they now use many software defined type radios so they can analyse at their convenience....

Hi Concorde. Hope you can find someone who can assist. One of the very reasons I post infrequently is exactly due to the above posts. Totally unhelpful and more concerned about correcting grammar or now it seems, lat and long positions in the country. Whilst I can't help in this instance I hope you ...

Re: Rafale solo display mach loop monday june 10th

Many moons ago whilst working as a ATC Assistant at Spadeadam, there were strict rules on which nations could and couldn't low fly within the UK. Some nations had carte blanche to fly, others would have to apply to the Tactical booking Centre at RAF West Drayton giving sufficient notice. The mists o...

Hi Nice pics given the conditions. Shame about the weather as this promised to be a good event. Being my local would be nice to see if some kind of event here could be resurrected. Given that I'm not sure it was heavily advertised, there did seem to be a healthy crowd. Not got round to looking at my...

Hi Nice pics there, especially the Reds above the Calidus Gyrocopter. Been thinking about a FZ1000 for a while now and certainly impressed with your results. Re: Little Gransden Charity Air and Car Show - 30th August 2

I agree with RivetCounter. The Vulcan canceled due to weather. There was a break in the flying so the organisers could have a reassessment of the rest of the day. I am glad that a lot of money was raised for charity in particular Children in Need. Well done guys. Try to ignore the petty criticms fro...

Lovely shots. Growing up in Wolverton, MK, always used to see these daily turning onto final approach when 27 was in use. Skies over here now fairly quiet. Spent many an afternoon after school at the 27 app end ( courtesy of a lift from my brother). Sadly missed but happy memories. Cheers for the pi...

I just want to add to what was a lovely afternoon of flying in the usual Old Warden laid back manner. One thing that made it for me was the commentary. Very informative, applicable and not diluted or dumbed-down. A shame about the weather but it has certainly encouraged me to pay another visit this ...

Re: BBMF Chipmunk

Hi Looks like a nice build. I'm in a similar position regarding returning to modelling. I also have a slightly older chipmunk kit that was released (I think) in the late 80s or early 90s. This being the Airfix Chippie WP805 (6 AEF). This was the first aircraft I ever flew in when I was a ATC Cadet a...
